What is Shoot Edit Chat Repeat Live?

It’s our annual live podcast event. We want to invite our lovely tribe to celebrate our 2nd podcast birthday with us.


The event is back for a 2nd year after a big success in Jan 2019. Our 2020 is going to be bigger and better. It’s going to be an event like no other in the photography industry.

It is a day full of advice, inspiration and collaboration for people photographers.

This is a day for you to be inspired by some amazing speakers, to fill your mind with new ideas and connect and chat about your work with other fellow photographers.

Whether you have run your business for over a decade, or are dreaming of quitting the 9-5 to become a photographer, this day will inspire and motivate you to build the business of your dreams.


PLAN FOR THE DAY - 18.01.20

11am – Doors open for coffee and chats 
12pm – Keynote talk by Comparison Coach, Lucy Sheridan 
1pm – Lunch (included in your ticket price)
2.30pm – In Conversation with…. no 1
5.00pm – In Conversation with…. no 2
6.30pm – Drinks and more chatting (first drink included in ticket price)
9.00pm – End

In breaks there will be time to mingle, Meet The Sponsors in the Chat Room and do Shoot Swaps.

Spend a fun and inspiring Saturday in an amazing space, with knockout speakers and in like-minded company. 

TwoGether will feel like a happy reunion – it’s the photography event you’ve always wanted.


With a keynote talk that will change the way you think and TWO live panel events, you will learn a ton and leave the day feeling energised and motivated


We know you want to have time to meet other photographers….so we have built time into the day for shoot swaps,  drinks and an opportunity to meet the sponsors.


The hosts of the podcast, Vicki Knights & Eddie Judd, will be hosting the day to ensure it’s as fun and informative as the podcast is!

Keynote Speaker

We have the world’s first and only comparison coach, Lucy Sheridan, doing a keynote talk that will change the way you think.

Lucy will help you to move away from ‘compare & despair’, end the jealousy and get back on track with creating work you love and reaching your goals. 

We know that lots of you are affected by the dreaded comparisonitus. Social media and technology has caused a comparison epidemic and it has never been more widespread or damaging to our individual potential. So we carefully selected a keynote speaker that can help us with this worrying element of our lives and work.

Comparison can hold us back and stop us from creating our best work and reaching for our goals.
Lucy is going to help you to change our thinking forever and you’ll all leave with your own plan to move forward.

Lucy Sheridan is the World’s first and only Comparison Coach. Signed to Gleam Titles and noted as one of the UK’s most successful coaches by The Times, she’s on a mission to cure comparison.

Lucy’s first book, ‘The Comparison Cure’ is out on Boxing Day 2019, and she will be available to sign copies on the day. 

In Conversation with…

There will be not one, but two panel talks during the day….both will be recorded live for the podcast, so you get to be part of the action!


Each panel expert will be sharing their words of wisdom with you, then there will be an opportunity for live Q&A. So you have your chance to ask our experts all of your burning questions!

Panel One

Elena S Blair

Elena is an award winning family & newborn photographer based in Seattle. Her work has been widely published including on the cover on the cover of Rangefinder Magazine.

Elena teaches photographers, with online platforms including CreativeLive, to make meaningful art and build profitable businesses.

James Rouse

James is a renowned UK wedding photographer.

He trains and mentors professional photographers, and has also been described as ‘the nicest person in the photography industry’.

You’ll understand why when you meet him!

Lucy Werner

Lucy is a PR expert and founder of The Wern, a communications consultancy and training hub. Lucy is a regular on on the PR speaker circuit. 

Her first book “Hype Yourself: A nonsense DIY PR toolkit for small businesses” is launching in January 2020.

Eddie Judd 

Eddie has been a people photographer for over 10 years. She loves connecting with people, which shows in her work as a family, wedding & branding photographer.

 Proud co-host of podcast Shoot Edit Chat Repeat. With skills learnt as a film photography graduate and Picture Editor, she loves teaching other photographers everything about editing.

Panel Two

Chloe Ramirez

Chloe is a published lifestyle photographer based in California, who loves to photograph deep and meaningful relationships.

Real human connection makes her heart sing and she strives to have love oozing out of every pore of her work. She loves teaching photographers how to capture this connection in their own work. 

Julie Christie

Julie is the founder of Togs in Business – a business and marketing membership for hard-working, ambitious photographers.

Along with her marketing obsession, she also has a strong love for all things ridiculous or mildly rude and eats Nutella straight from the jar with an enormous spoon.

Stewart Randall

Stewart had a successful career as a wedding photographer before founding award-winning supplier to the phtoography industry, Folio Albums. 

Stewart has a passion for customer service and is going to talk to us about delivering an amazing experience to our own clients.

Vicki Knights

Vicki has run her family & personal branding photography business for over a decade. Vicki is founder of the Delight Retreat for photographers & co-host of the Shoot Edit Chat Repeat podcast. 

Her work has been featured in many national publications including Cosmo,  Guardian, Telegraph & Practical Photography.

Your Faqs

I'm a bit nervous about coming by myself, will everyone be in groups?
Please don’t worry, there are lots of people coming by themselves and we’ll make sure you receive a lovely Shoot Edit Chat Repeat welcome!

We are running this event to bring our community together and so you can meet other like-minded photographers.

What type of lunch is included?

Because of limited food options around the venue, we are making sure that delicious food and drink, tea and coffee is available for you throughout the day. Please note that we can’t cater for all dietary requirements. We will send more details in an email closer to the event date.

Can I bring my husband/friend/kids/dog/HAMSTER with me?
Husband or friend – absolutely as long as they buy a ticket too.
Your kids – I’m afraid not as that will be distracting for our panel and guests.
Your pets – as much as we love our four-legged friends, we’re afraid they aren’t allowed in the venue.
What's the refund policy?
You can get a full refund on your ticket up to 30 days before the event. Because we’re kind like that.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! If you want to dress up to celebrate our first birthday in style then please feel free to. But if you’re more of a jeans and converse kind then that’s absolutely fine too.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

 Click here to see lots more details about getting to the venue. The venue is really well situated, being just 8 mins from London City Airport, 5 mins from Canary Wharf and 13 mins from Bank. 

Will there be an opportunity to chat to the other attendees online before the event?

 Yes, you will be added to an event Facebook Group for attendees to be able to chat, make travel arrangements together and organise shoot swaps!

Is your event aimed at just women?

No – it is open to all lovely humans (of the adult variety)! 

I'm not a photographer but I run my own business - can I come?

Our event is primarily aimed at people who own photography businesses, but we are confident that all creative entreprenuers would benefit from the day.

How do I get my flyer/product into your swag bags?

We’d love to hear from business that want to work with us. Just email us at hello@shooteditchatrepeat.com and we’ll send you the sponsorship packages that we have available. 

Will I get the chance to talk to your speakers and ask them questions?

Yes definitely. Lucy Sheridan will be doing a book signing after her keynote, so you get the chance to meet her then. The other speakers will be around during the day and there will be a Q&A session after each talk.
